I love fast websites, which is why we have gone for tried and tested code and another theme from Anders. No unnecessary plugins. Keep it simple. Small images. Cache and minification. We don’t use a CDN just yet because the traffic is still low and the audience is local. In a follow-up post we might share out favourite plugins for achieveing same.
2. Implement Responsive Design

Completely agree. Fully responsive, as is expected today. The site looks beautiful and loads fast on both desktop and mobile. I prefer editing on multiple large screen and only from the office, but more than half of our traffic is from mobile and that number just continues to grow.

A simple layout. Less is more. Stay away from verbosity. Don’t repeat yourself (see what I did there?). Focus on lovely text, with a single header image. Images should be loud or distracting and I loathe anything shouty. And nothing much ito smileys and emoticons (keyboard shortcut WIN+”.”). Continue.
4. Create Compelling and Relevant Content

Added relevant keywords and headings and simple images to convey the message. People come here to get concise info on how tech can help them grow their freelance and SME business income. We should definitely add testimonials (same as for Bicycle Couriers) and ask for referrals. Credibility comes from within the blog posts where you write with authority and include examples.
5. Implement Effective Call-to-Actions (CTAs)
Strategically placed and well-designed call-to-actions (CTAs) can significantly impact conversion rates. Clearly define the desired actions you want visitors to take. Whether it’s making a purchase, filling out a form, or signing up for a newsletter. Use contrasting colors, compelling copy, and an attention-grabbing design to make CTAs stand out. Ensure that CTAs are placed at relevant sections of your website, guiding visitors towards the desired conversion points.
Keep it simple. Away with the long form footer content and replaced with only three simple CTA’s. One for websites. One for hosting. One for switching to Webandmore. That’s all we want. More of the same customers. Maybe it is time for a newsletter. Together with sharing on Medium, Linkedin and Pinterest. Onwards. Oh, and there is usually a cheeky on-liner at the end of each blog post. Just a little nudge in the right direction.
6. Utilize Social Proof and Trust Signals
